JGD & Associates was founded on July 1, 1977 in La Jolla, California under the name Jassoy, Graff & Douglas by founding partners Robert Jassoy, Jr., William Graff, and Robert Douglas. At the time the Firm was formed, the practice consisted mainly of individual and small business clients and primarily provided tax preparation and bookkeeping services within the La Jolla area.

In 1994, the Firm relocated to the UTC area and began focusing on helping business clients provide higher level tax planning, assurance & review services, and business consulting. The Firm’s expertise increased in several areas during this time while our clients continued to grow in size and profitability. In 2003, the Firm changed it’s name to JGD & Associates LLP, and the original founding partners retired from the Firm.

Currently, the Firm is lead by Managing Partner, Dan Schreiber, with Dave Brzezniak, Tom Zonaras, and Brian Wilcox leading the Tax Group, and Ronny Mitchell and Will Botzum leading the Assurance Group.
